***Each newsletter will include details of the Bible Readings that are assigned for the following Sunday, as well as our Prayer List and Prayer Points.***

Last Sunday (March 22) in Noel’s absence, Bishop Philip Huggins took the 10am service at HTPM. Philip is the president of the National Council of Churches in Australia. He distributed copies of this prayer, inviting people to offer the prayer each evening until Easter at 7pm and at a particular focus of Prayer for the Nations, THIS Sunday March 29.

Gracious God,
We give thanks anew for your providence and presence.
We prayerfully seek your grace, amidst COVID-19 here and overseas.
We pray for those in need of healing.
We pray for your peace with those who are anxious or grieving.
We pray you will continue to strengthen and sustain all those who are serving in response.
We pray for your Holy Spirit’s discernment amidst the many choices and decisions facing our national, community and medical leaders.
We pray we each might see quickly what more we can do to help those who are vulnerable.
This prayer for our nation in the family of nations, with all that is on our hearts, we gather now and pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

CHURCH INCOME

During this time of isolation when regular services are not being held, there is no  opportunity to collect offerings through the plate.  Also, due to the closure of the Op Shop and cancellation of Mini-Markets and Sausage Sizzles, the church’s income streams are greatly reduced.  Our regular outgoings each month are a little over $6,000 and so  the HTPM community is encouraged to still make regular financial contributions via bank transfers.  Bank account details are:

Account Name:           Holy Trinity Cheque Account

BSB:                             033 018

Account Number:        101281

Please add ‘Collection Plate’ in the Reference section.

MANY THANKS

“Keep safe, follow all of the rules, ….look after others …… Most of all pray diligently and constantly for yourselves, others, the caring professions and for those at the greatest risk, ……and for the needs of our wounded world at this time.”                      Father Noel
