CHURCH SERVICES AT HOLY TRINITY                                                                                                                  

With the easing of Covid 19 restrictions, from 29 October bookings are no longer required and we are allowed to have 30 people at a service plus those conducting the service.  We must  observe the 4sqm, 1.5m distancing rules and masks must be worn indoors. The QR code registration is required and the Fully Vaccinated Certificate needs to be seen by Noel (This only needs to be done once).  A separate Sunday Service needs to be provided for those non vaccinated and vaccination status unknown people at 12 noon.

Church groups and meetings ie Meditation etc and Opportunity Shop rules will be announced later.

BAY STREET TRADERS MARKET DAY – Saturday 4 December 2021

This event is organised by the Port Melbourne Business Association and will involve traders along the length of Bay Street.

HTPM will have our own ‘Market Day’ involving a Sausage Sizzle, Op Shop, Plant Stall and Cake Stall.

*** We will need people to help on the stalls and also contribute to the cake and plant stalls!  More detail soon! ***  🧁  🌺

DONATIONS TO BASP (BRIGIDINE ASYLUM SEEKERS PROJECT)

Starting in November we will once again accept donations for BASP in the form of food and grocery items.  The collection basket will reappear beside the entrance table and a list of required items will be on the entrance table and will also be published again in the Parish News.   *** An extra item or two purchased in your weekly shop will make a huge difference to many of these people as they try to re-establish their lives in a new country. ***

PARISH FINANCES

Thank you to all who have contributed to the parish finances recently – it is greatly appreciated and it means that we are not financially stressed and are able to pay our standing accounts.  Now that we can worship again on Sunday mornings in person, offerings can be given by the plate, or alternatively please use the Westpac Bank details that are printed below or send a cheque to PO Box 477 Port Melbourne 3207.

DEANERY EVENSONG – Sunday 14 November 2021 @ 5pm

This Annual Service for the parishes that make up the Port Phillip Area Deanery will be held at Holy Trinity Port Melbourne on SUNDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2021 at 5pm.  Help with the catering would be welcome.

PARISH STATUTORY ANNUAL MEETING – AGM:  Sunday 21 November 2021

This meeting will be held on Sunday 21 November 2021 at 12 noon, in person at the church.  Nomination Forms are now available for the election of Churchwardens, Parish Council Members, Parish Incumbency Committee.

THE ANNUAL FARMYARD ANIMAL NURSERY DAY AND FACE PAINTING

This wonderful family event sponsored by Hunky Dory which is normally held in the church courtyard on Melbourne Cup Day, has again been cancelled. We may try and hold it   early in the new year depending on covid restrictions.
