ADVENT
Advent is a penitential season of 4 weeks preparation for the Festival of Christmas. There are changes in the Liturgy – the Preparation and Confession are in the middle of the service, the Gloria is not said and the Third Order of the Consecration is used and the second option is used where provided. There are no flowers in Advent and the liturgical colour is purple.

We had a wonderful community day last Saturday at the Market Day. Perfect weather and many people out and about!

MEDITATION
The Monday meditation group will resume in February 2022. Grateful thanks to Jill Mahar for her sensitive leadership of the group over the last ten years.
PARISH COUNCIL MEETING : Thursday 16 December
The first meeting of the new Parish Council will be held on THURSDAY 16 December @ 6pm in the church.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS IN THE HTPM COURTYARD ! – Monday 20 December 2021 @ 7pm
The South Melbourne Community Choir will be singing Christmas Carols in the courtyard on 20 December @ 7pm.

The collection basket for food and grocery donations to BASP has once again been placed beside the entrance table. A list of suitable items to donate is on the notice board opposite the entrance table.
