NOTICES
THANK YOU TO BISHOP DAVID FARRER
Many thanks to Bishop David Farrer who led us in worship over the last two weeks while Father Noel has been away. Bishop David would also have been here today if not for the covid lockdown. We are sorry not to have the chance to say ‘farewell’ but thank him for his wisdom, words and encouragement.
THE REVEREND KEN LETTS
Next Sunday the Reverend Ken Letts will lead us in worship. Some of you may remember Ken from when he filled in for Noel during Noel’s annual leave in 2019.
FATHER NOEL WHALE
Father Noel will return from annual leave on 1 August 2021.
CHURCH OPEN
The church will not be open on Thursdays and Fridays during July.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE OP-SHOP
If you have some time once a month to help out in the Op-Shop, please contact Jen or Cheryl.
CHURCH GIVING AND THE PARISH FINANCES
Owing to the Covid protocols, the Sunday 10am Service attendance has been slow to recover despite being permitted to have 30 people at worship. As a result the collections have been reduced and the parish finances suffering. Can I encourage our parishioners to contribute on a regular basis by using the banking details below. Apart from the Op Shop, all of our fundraising efforts have been suspended, so the need is considerable. Noel
