Today, Sunday 18 September 2022, at 6:30 pm, the choir and organ master, James O’Donnell will be leading the annual Deanery Evensong at St James the Great Anglican Church on 435 Inkerman Street, St Kilda East. UN PEACE DAY: AN ONLINE VIGIL FOR PEACE

On Wednesday, 21 September 2022, the International Day of Peace will be observed around the world. This year, the theme “End Racism – Build Peace” invites you to reflect and act on the kind of world we want to live in now and to create for our future generations. This 30-minute event from 6 to 6.30 pm which will include a gentle guided meditation, will celebrate and reinforce compassion, resilience, courage and hope within each of us. CELEBRATING NOEL WHALE’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD

Next Sunday, 25 September 2022, St George’s East Ivanhoe will host a Choral Evensong to commemorate Noel’s service to the St George’s parish and community in the years 1986 to 1995. An invitation is attached to today’s Parish News. Although this joyful and auspicious occasion will be live streamed on YouTube, Noel would be delighted to see HTPM parishioners at the service.
