PALM SUNDAY WALK FOR JUSTICE FOR REFUGEES 2023: TODAY – Sunday 2 April 2023 @ 1.30 pm
This event begins at the State Library (corner of Swanston and Latrobe Streets) on April 2 @ 1.30 pm. There will be music until 2 pm. Following the music, there will be speeches, and then the walk will go to Parliament Gardens for more music and speeches.
Melbourne Anglicans can meet at 1.50 pm in front of the State Library under the diocesan banner, ‘Anglicans Walking Together – Justice for Refugees’.
EASTER WORKING BEE: NEXT Saturday 8 April 2023
A working bee to clean the church will be held on Easter Saturday (8 April) so that it is clean and sparkly for Easter Sunday.
‘Many hands make light work’ – 10 am start.
ST PETER’S BOOKROOM AUTUMN BOOK FAIR: Saturday 22nd April Sunday 23rd April
Half the parish hall will have good-quality theological, spiritual, Anglican titles. The other half will be in the categories of fiction and non-fiction. All books – are $2 each. St Peter’s hall – 15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne (on the 109 tram route).

CORONATION SERVICES and ACTIVITIES
Service of Thanksgiving to mark the coronation of King Charles, at All Saints East St Kilda. Sunday 7 May 2023 @ 5 pm.
The service will take the form of a Choral Evensong and will feature music from past coronations.
‘PIMMS & HYMNS’ at Holy Trinity Balaclava and Elwood. Saturday 6 May 2023 – to celebrate the coronation of King Charles.
This is a fundraiser to restore the church’s very old church doors. $35 per ticket, $20 concession, children – free.
Afternoon from 4 pm – exact time TBC when palace announcement made.
