Holy Trinity Anglican Church Port Melbourne is a parish of the Diocese of Melbourne in the Anglican Church of Australia, which is an independent and autonomous member of the wordwide Anglican Communion.
The Archbishop of Canterbury is the spiritual head of the Anglican Communion; the Archbishop of Brisbane, Philil Aspenal is the Primate or Head of the Anglican Church of Australia and Archbishop Phillip Freier is the Archbishop of Melbourne and the spiritual leader of the local Anglican community.
