NOTICES

‘SOLACE’

Holy Trinity will again host a 45-minute meditative event named ‘Solace’ at 12noon next Sunday, 11 September.  Please note that this is a date change from 4 September due to Father’s Day. This is an opportunity for silent meditation, peaceful piano music, a chance to light a candle and sit quietly. Watch this space for future dates.

SEASON OF CREATION 2022

The Season of Creation is an annual celebration of prayer and action where Christians of all denominations, and from all over the world, unite as one global community, to remember those who are displaced or have disappeared from public spaces and political processes. From 1 September to 4 October 2022, may this season of prayer and action be a time for all of us to really listen to the voice of creation – the voices of indigenous peoples, the voices of our suffering sisters and brothers, the voices of all members of God’s creation, the voice of the earth – so that our lives in words and deeds proclaim good news for all the earth. VIRTUAL UN PEACE DAY

On Wednesday, 21 September 2022, the International Day of Peace will be observed around the world. This year, the theme “End Racism – Build Peace” invites you to reflect and act on the kind of world we want to live in now and to create for our future generations. This 30-minute event from 6 to 6.30 pm which will include a gentle guided meditation, will celebrate and reinforce compassion, resilience, courage and hope within each of us.
