A CELEBRATION OF PAT GRAINGER’S LIFE
Pat Grainger was well-known to many in Port Melbourne for her community involvement, activism and campaigning for the suburb over many years. She was a key member of the group that formed the Port Melbourne Historical and Preservation Society and lent her design skills to many community activities and events. Pat died on March 19 and a celebration of her life is being held at the Port Melbourne Town Hall on May 13, 11.30 am – 2 pm. RSVP to Jill Dawson, jaydaw@hotmail.com. This will be an opportunity to socialise, reminisce and admire Pat’s contribution to community and civic life since settling in Station Street in 1983.
COMEDY FUNDRAISER FOR MYANMAR – WITH OUR OWN SHANE!
Join Shane and Caissie (Shane’s niece) for a fun, light-hearted night of comedy, raising money for humanitarian
assistance (food, medicine, etc) for people in Myanmar/Burma, who are still suffering from the consequences of
the military coup.
** Bishop Philip will speak briefly on the night at the fundraiser.**
