NOTICES
DONATIONS TO BASP (BRIGIDINE ASYLUM SEEKERS PROJECT)
Prior to Christmas, our final donations to BASP for 2022 were taken to the BASP office in Albert Park. This included over $200 of supermarket vouchers (in $10, $20 and $30 amounts) for which they were extremely grateful!
HTPM donations to BASP will begin again in February. A list of required items is on the notice board opposite the entry table and vouchers will again of course be very much appreciated.
MEDITATION
The Monday Meditation Group will resume on Monday February 6 @ 5.30pm in the church.
ABM (Anglican Board of Mission) – ‘HIDDEN TREASURES OF TASMANIA TOUR’
The Tasmania ABM Committee invites you to discover the hidden treasures of Tasmania and make connections with other ABM supporters from Tasmania and across Australia. 21-27 March 2023.
The tour is for 7 days and 6 nights, and will be hosted by an experienced tour guide, who is himself an ABM supporter. On the trip, funds will be raised for ABM AID’s Sustainable Communities Program as remarkable places are visited from the well-known landmarks of Hobart, Freycinet Peninsular and the Bay of Fires, to the lesser-known Blue Lake, Bushland Garden, Musselroe Bay, and the sculptures of Ledgerwood.
Participants will also get to meet local ABM supporters across Tasmania as beautiful and historical churches are visited and meals and fellowship are shared. Accompanied by an ABM staff member, participants will learn more about the work of ABM and AID and how the Sustainable Communities Program is changing lives. For more information:
